Dr. Carl and JoLynn Krause have been in ministry together for over 50 years with extensive experience in pastoring, teaching and counseling. In 2002 they joined the staff of Barnabas Ministries and for 10 years directed and provided counseling services and retreats for missionaries in conjunction with Barnabas Zentrum in Austria. Since 2012 they have been providing counseling and debrief retreats in Grand Junction, Colorado for missionaries on home assignment as well as pastors and their spouses, and traveled to teach and work with missionary teams in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Carl holds a Master of Divinity and Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary. As a pastor for 25 years, he frequently worked with families in crisis. Because of his love for young pastors, he has also served as a mentor to seminary students and served as adjunct professor at Colorado Christian University for 10 years where he taught in the degree completion program.
JoLynn serves with her husband as co-counselor and has a heart for ministry wives and their children. She holds a MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and has had a private counseling practice in Lakewood, Colorado.
